MSHA Part 46 Mining Training

Federal-compliant surface mining safety training for New England — delivered at our facility or yours.

The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) requires all workers at surface mines — including sand, gravel, crushed stone, and similar operations — to complete mandatory safety training under 30 CFR Part 46.

This includes training for new miners before they begin work, annual refresher courses for existing employees, and certified First Aid and CPR preparation. Non-compliance can result in federal citations, fines, and work stoppages.

United Safety Professionals is now an authorized provider of MSHA Part 46 training throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Connecticut — the only provider in the region operating under this authorization.
