Course Overview

The EM 385-1-1 24-Hour Fall Protection for the Competent Person course offered by United Safety Professionals is designed to prepare individuals to identify, evaluate, and control fall hazards in accordance with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) EM 385-1-1 Safety and Health Requirements Manual.
This comprehensive program equips construction supervisors, safety officers, and site managers with the technical knowledge and hands-on skills to fulfill the role of a Competent Person for fall protection systems on military, government, and private sector projects.

Upon successful completion, participants will be qualified to implement fall protection programs, perform hazard assessments, and ensure full compliance with EM 385-1-1, OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart M, and ANSI/ASSE Z359 standards.
