Course Overview

The OSHA 10-Hour Maritime Industry Training course offered by United Safety Professionals provides entry-level maritime workers with essential safety knowledge needed to recognize, avoid, and prevent common hazards in maritime workplaces.

This course is based on OSHA Maritime Standards under 29 CFR 1915, 1917, and 1918, which cover shipyard employment, marine terminals, and longshoring operations. It is designed for workers who require foundational safety awareness training to meet federal and state safety requirements in ports, shipyards, cargo handling facilities, and other maritime environments.

Led by experienced OSHA-authorized instructors, the course emphasizes practical understanding of workplace hazards, employee rights, employer responsibilities, and the importance of maintaining a safe and compliant maritime workplace.
